Did you know there are rings of criminals smuggling Chinese garlic into Europe?
Bizarre but true....

Swedish state prosecutors claim to have cracked one of Europe's more seemingly strange, if lucrative, smuggling rings.

They say two British men are believed to have made millions of euros smuggling Chinese garlic from Norway into Sweden.

The EU imposes a 9.6% duty on imported foreign garlic.

The supplies are said to have been shipped to Norway - a non-EU state where no garlic import tax is applied - and then smuggled into neighbouring Sweden and the rest of the EU by lorry, thus avoiding EU import duties.

A Grave Crisis
Siblings, it is my sad duty to inform you that The Kettle Of The Goddess has a broken lid.

It is still possible to prepare the Holy Beverage, but those who do so are in Peril for the lid of The Kettle has a tendency to go Sproing at random.

Attention: Ministry of Evil Science...
Siblings! Rejoice!

Another example of the life saving properties of The Holy Beverage has been discovered.

The Goddess had a bent pin which needed to be disposed of, and, as all wise Siblings know, just dropping it in the bin could have caused it to sneak around and tear the bin liner, thereby leading to Unpleasantness.
Salvation appeared in the form of a used teabag.
The errant pin was safely embedded in the teabag prior to disposal, and thus any attempts it makes to reach the outer edges of the bin in order to tear the bag will be futile...

The Ministry of Evil Science may wish to explore other hazards that tea could assist in.
The Inquistion will, no doubt, be glad to help with encouraging volunteers to come forward to help in any necessary experiments.

A theological conundrum...
Siblings, there is an important theological point which has been overlooked in previous debates, and which clearly needs to be addressed as a matter of urgency:

What do people whose name really is Keith do in response to The Chicken Song?

First link is definitely Not Safe For Work or Kids
Here's a little something to test the ability of The Keeper Of Delicate Sensibilities.

In honour of the Pirate Party of Sweden winning a seat in the European Parliament I think we should form our own political party. The cult_of_nickys Tea Party.

I blame the sugar high and lawrencethefern for providing the sugar in the form of cakes and chocolate.
